As a peer response writer, I praise, encourage, and relate to my peers in their writing. Although these are all good response styles I tend to lack constructive criticism and more detail of what needs to be fixed or changed in a piece of writing. Its not that I do not see the problems in my peers writing, I just dont like being so upfront. I am sensitive about my work and I would hate to discourage or hurt my peers feelings. I dont think they would mind a little more criticism in a positive manor, and that is something I will have to improve on. When color coding my responses, I noticed the very few variations of coloring. This is because my writing style is a positive praising manor, rather than being blunt or extremely detailed.
